The Town of Clifton is as quaint as they come, but don’t let the size fool you. There is plenty to explore and be entertained by on any given day and throughout the year with the town’s famed events. Lynn Norusis takes you on a tour so you can make the most of your trip.

Stroll the streets of Clifton and take in the Victorian homes that are nestled around the main thoroughfare where you’ll find boutique shops such as Belle Jar Design, The Wine Attic, and The Clifton General Store. Stop in for a bite of some Italian fare at Trattoria Villagio, or pick up a some Irish grub at Main Street Pub. If you’re looking for a more casual meal try out the sandwiches at Clifton General Store, or Clifton Cafe where you can also lounge about for breakfast or a caffeine pick me up. And Bake and Brew Coffee is just off the main strip where you can enjoy pastries, homemade cupcakes, and freshly brewed coffee.

For a special treat, make sure to stop at Peterson’s Ice Cream Depot serving ice cream, sundaes, shakes, hot dogs, and more kid-friendly food.

For a special night out, don’t miss the award-winning Trummer’s,  a relaxed fine dining restaurant showcasing Virginia’s local agriculture, and pair it with a wine from one of the largest wine cellars in the mid-Atlantic region.
