Maintaining your home in spring is crucial for various reasons. To start, it reverses any damage inflicted by winter weather, nipping potential problems in the bud. Moreover, it boosts curb appeal, enhances energy efficiency, and secures the comfort and safety of you and your loved ones.

So, let’s tackle spring maintenance with confidence by following these 10 essential tasks to ensure your home is in prime condition for the season ahead.

  • Aerate the lawn
  • Schedule an air conditioning check
  • Reverse the direction of ceiling fans
  • Change the batteries in smoke detectors
  • Wash windows (inside and out)
  • Wipe down the inside of the fridge and freezer
  • Vacuum the dryer vent
  • Clean gutters and downspouts
  • Scrub baseboards and trim
  • Prep your outdoor space (check the grill and plant some flowers)

While this checklist gives great advice on getting your home ready for spring, our team is excited to share some practical tips on how we tackle our seasonal upkeep.
